December beauty empties and samples

December must be the cosiest month of the year, as it includes my birthday, Christmas, New Years Eve and two weeks of school break. Let me give you a sight in the products I emptied and samples I've tried this month.

1) Sisley facial mask with linden blossom: I really liked this sample and if I ever get the chance to buy the full item, I probably will. I've been using a peel-off mask for a long time, and I was pleased to try a cream mask for once. And I must say it really hydrated and cleaned my skin. The smell was also really lovely. Too bad I didn't really knew how long I had to leave it on, as the instructions said 20 minutes but the creamy mask stays creamy and doesn't get hard, so I left it on for about 35 minutes without knowing. 4/5

2) Nivea peel soft scrub: I've used this product for a long, long time, and I'm so sad it's finished. I'm really going to buy it again. It's a great scrub with a nice, refreshing effect and really maked my skin ten times softer, cleaner and just more beautiful. Nivea is for sure still about my number one skin care brand, it gives such a good result for such a reasonable price! 5/5

3) Schwarzkopf cotton fresh dry shampoo: I've tried other dry shampoos and I must say this one is definetely my favourite. It's about the 3th bottle I've bought of it so far and I don't think I want any else. It smells good, which is rare for a dry shampoo, and also makes my hair soft and fluffy instead of oily THE WHOLE DAY, and not just an hour. Too bad the bottle is so small and I finish it quite quickly... 4.5/5

4) Lancôme teint miracle liquid foundation: I'm more the kind of girl that sticks to my Chanel powder foundation (which I'm running out of, help!), but after noticing I still had like 50 samples of liquid foundation and make-up, I decided to give them a try. Starting with this one from Lancôme, which was actually really good. I only wore it when going out, as I'm not the type to wear a lot of make-up during the day, but I must say I'm very pleased by this one. A subtle, matte colour and it didn't hurt my skin! 4/5

5) RoC soft smoothing scrub: A scrub is something quite important to me that really has to show results, and this one did that too. But as I'm used to the very good Nivea one, I'm less impressed by this RoC one. Also, the smell was quite dull and didn't make me feel like I was cleaning my skin. 3/5

6) Clinique superbalanced makeup: Another kind of liquid foundation I wanted to try out, I must say I'm less happy about this one than the Lancôme one. The shade was Vanilla, which may have been a bit too brownish for me as I really need more of a beige colour. So it may just be the shade that made me think it was too dark. But I also didn't like the structure, which was hard to grease into my skin and also crumbled. 2.5/5

7) Collistar intensive firming cream: I never knew about this brand, but after trying a sample of their body cream, I'm really hoping to find more of them. The cream smelled lovely, really moistured and firmed my skin and left my body soft and creamy. But I suspect the actual product to be quite pricey... 4/5

Have you ever tried any of these products or are you planning to? Let me know!
