MAC lipstick collection

For most girls, buying a MAC lipstick is a landmark in their life. It's hard to say a bad thing about MAC lipsticks. They come in the cutest packaging, bullet-shaped and beautifully black and metallic. They have a huge range of colours, in every kind of finish, so it's hard to not find a shade that suits you. And, although a lot of people would disagree, they're not too overpriced, when you compare it to the quality you get for it. Let's have a little sneak peek in the modest collection of MAC lipsticks I've created over the years.
The first MAC that ever came into this collection, is not the simplest one and I didn't buy it myself. I got the Viva Glam Lady Gaga II lipstick from my aunt a couple of years ago and I actually haven't really used it, since it's this brownish nude colour that was too extravagant for my young self. But now that I know a bit more about beauty, I think I might start using it! It was a limited edition, so it's not for sale anymore!

Two years ago, I got my second MAC lipstick together with my mum in Paris. It's the beautiful, matte Pink Plaid. Other than most matte lipsticks, it's easy to apply and it doesn't dry out very quickly. It catches the eye, but it can easily be worn casually too!

Later I bought the Plink! lipstick which is a beautiful everyday lipstick that looks rosy at the first sight but actually is a bit of an orangey nude with a little shimmer in it. On the same shopping spree, I got the retro matte Ruby Woo, a super vivid red that is soooo matte that it's hard to apply without primer and a lip liner, but it lasts longer than you'd expect. I really love it, but haven't worn it a lot because it's such a conspicious shade!

The last two weeks I've added two more shades to my collection: the golden nude Honeylove and the famous Twig. It seems like that last one will be used to the bottom because it's my new favourite already!!

I'm quite pleased with the collection I've got right now, but there are still a lot of shades on my wishlist: Brave, Rebel, Vegas Volt, Velvet Teddy, Relentlessy Red and Chili to begin with!

How big is your MAC collection?
