My dressing table dreams have come true

I've talked about it quite a lot here already: my dream to have a dressing table with a big mirror with light bulbs to do my make up. I had even made a moodboard and dedicated a full post to how I would decorate my dream vanity. And actually, this moodboard was what helped me design the perfect real-life dressing table which my mum gifted me for my 18th birthday. A real dream that came true!

I did buy the IKEA Malm vanity (and placed it myself) and I'm really happy about it. It's perfectly big enough but doesn't take in my whole room because it's not super deep, yet I have the perfect amount of space to store all my make up products. I also went for a glamorous Broadway mirror with light bulbs, but I'm kind of having some troubles with it still but those will be fixed soon! I love how detailled I can see my make up using those lights on the mirror, it's really useful. The mirror is from one of my favourite interior shops, Maisons Du Monde in Bruges.

I decorated my table in a simply, elegant way. I got all of the decorations in local shops, but I'm sure that everything can be found back in a likewise version from H&M Home. Next to the basics - a tissue box and a brush holder (marble!!) - I added a Winter-themed succulent plant and my Miu Miu perfume suits the whole as well.

I chose to store my lipsticks in a cute glass box, and I hope to expand my collection (sorry, mum!) so that this box will be nicely filled up with bullet shaped-sticks. My palettes and pretty boxes are stored in a minimalistic black tray because I like it when I see what I have. My other products are in the drawer of the table.

I'm super happy with this addition to my bedroom interior. I love how I can finally take my time to do my make up and I feel so glamorous doing what I love!

How do you like my vanity? Where do you do your make up?
