Iconic London Cream Contour Palette

Some good contouring tools are so essential for girls who like to go for a glamorous make up look. Up 'till now I only used bronzer and shimmery highlighter, but I couldn't resist trying out a real contour palette like the Multi use cream contour palette by Iconic London!

I'm not really an expert when it comes to cream products. I'm a sucker for powder, I love the effect powder products have on my skin and how natural it looks. I was quite afraid that cream contouring wouldn't work well on me and that my skin would get all dry and it would expose all the lines and pores.

But I was wrong! After trying a couple of times, I really love the effect of this palette. I like to keep it natural, so I just dab some cream on a beauty blender or sponge to apply it to my face in a dapping movement.

The palette contains 3 sculpting shades, a highlighting shade, a corrector and a shimmery blush.

It's quite hard for me to choose which sculpting shade I should use, but I mostly just go for what I think fits the condition and tint of my face the best at that very moment. I love the texture of the sculpting shades, they're not drying out my skin and they blend in very, very well!

The highlighting shade is less blend-able in my opinion, but if you dap it lightly onto your cheeks and forehead it gives a super cute illuminated effect and your skin looks brightened a lot more. I would just advice you to not apply it directly with a brush because it'll get all into lines and pores.

The corrector is something I'll probably be using a lot along with or instead of my everyday concealer, mostly to eliminate the blue veins that show around my eyes when I haven't had much rest and the red outer corners of my eyes. I like to apply the corrector with my Real Techniques Detailer Brush from the Core Collection.

And as much as I'm keen on my MAC MSF's, I will be using the shimmery blush shade on my cheeks to vary from now on! It's not as visible and dramatic as my powder shimmers but it still looks cute and has a nude-ish, pink undertone which I love!

At first I wasn't quite sure if I'd like a cream contour palette, but now I'm soooo happy that I own it. I'm really going to 'play' with it a lot and it's going to be the perfect addition to my looks.

Tell me what you think!
