My favourite products for a glowy touch

There are these kind of people who love having their face all matte and powdered, but I'm nothing like that. I like my foundation to be even and covering, but I enjoy a little touch of highlight and a glowy touch, because I find that more natural and suitable for my face and skintone. That's why I'm showing you the products that I mostly use for this glowing finish.

In my usual makeup routine, I go for foundation and concealer and then I go for a contour 50 procent of the times. I do always highlight: I like to dab a bit of my Iconic London Contour Palette's highlighter onto the top of my cheeks for a light up. I do however enjoy a shimmery illuminator the most; that's why I'm in absolute love with MAC MSF Soft & Gentle, a product that has been featured here quite some times already. I like to brush it onto the highest point of my cheekbone, in the direction of my temples.

When I go for a more bare faced look, I tend to put a rosey, blushy glow on my nose and cheeks using my YSL Touche Eclat Blur Perfector to have a matte, yet healthy looking effect. Or I add some illuminating blush from Clarins to the apples of my cheeks for a happy, pinkish glow.

Though I am used to going for my Chanel universal powder (the compact one or the loose one, depends on my mood), I lately have been choosing a lot for the Glow Up powder by Ellis Faas. It's actually a highlighter, but I think it doesn't do much highlighting for me and works better as a finishing powder to dew up my skin.

How do you like your skin best? Matte or dewy?
